Go deep. RUN TRU.

For the past 15 seasons, Big Fish Tuff Tackle Company’s Tru-Trip deep divers have consistently helped me put countless limits of walleye in the boat for my clients. Whether we’re trolling crankbaits, spoons, or worm harnesses, the consistency, durability, and quality of the Tru-Trip have been a game changer when fishing the big water of Lake Erie. Now, with the addition of the new Glow-in-the-Dark Tru-Trips, Big Fish Tuff has once again tipped the scales in favor of the angler. Having equipment I can depend on in a variety of conditions is critical when your livelihood depends on producing fish day in and day out. Built in the U.S.A. and built for big water, Tru-Trips have proven themselves season after season. When I’m on the water with clients, I can’t afford to sacrifice quality, reliability, or production. I need equipment that works, and Tru-Trips consistently deliver. After 15 seasons of putting them to the test, there’s a reason they remain a staple in my trolling program: We use what works.

For the past eight years, Big Fish Tuff Tackle’s 30, 40, and 50 TRU-TRIP and GLOW TRU-TRIP divers have been trusted gear aboard Captain Ken’s Wild Wings and the Preacher. As a USCG 100 GRT Master Captain running Lake Erie since 1995, I rely on equipment that performs consistently every day. Captain Dan Heyne designed TRU-TRIP to get walleye presentations to the desired depth quickly, smoothly, and reliably. With Lake Erie’s changing wind, current, bait, and fish movement, these divers provide the dependable depth control needed to put the right lure in front of walleye at the right depth. At Captain Ken’s Wild Wings, we put trust, honesty, and the customer first. Big Fish Tuff Tackle is proven, captain-trusted gear we are proud to run because it helps deliver safe, successful, and memorable days on the water. Go deep, go steady, get results.

When chartering on Lake Erie, dialling in exact presentation depth is the name of the game. Tru-Trip 40 and 50 divers are permanent fixtures on my boat. When the walleye are suspended in mid-water, the Tru-Trips take every lure from deep diving crank baits to custom spoons and worm harnesses to the targeted depth without snapping on weights or endless feet of line. They run straight, track clean, and trip flawlessly so my charter clients fight the fish, not the gear. If you’re trolling big boards or in-lines, these divers are the foundation for your presentation. Built in America and built to last limit after limit.
